This article contains information on Downloadable content for Dragon Age: Origins. Some downloadable content can be purchased within the game with BioWare points, through the Xbox Marketplace, or through the PlayStation Store, while others were pre-order promotional items and can no longer be obtained. Several of the promotional items are now available for anyone with a BioWare Social Network account. See here for more information.
BioWare originally announced during the final stages of the development of Dragon Age: Origins that two years' worth of downloadable content were planned for release. The planned DLC would include items such as rings and amulets, short adventures like Warden's Keep and full expansion packs with dozens of hours of new gameplay. With the earlier than expected arrival of Dragon Age II, Witch Hunt was confirmed to be the last DLC release for Dragon Age: Origins.
DLC items and Awakening Edit
Not all of the Dragon Age: Origins DLC can be accessed in Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening. All equipment obtained in Return to Ostagar transfers successfully on all platforms. The items obtained in The Stone Prisoner import only on the PC. Additionally, while the equipment from Warden's Keep does not transfer on any platform, the Power of Blood abilities do (as of patch 1.04).
None of the promotional items import successfully, except for Memory Band. Having any of the non-importable items equipped on the Warden may cause their stats (including fatigue) to be permanently stuck on the character.
Add-ons Edit
These add-ons unlock new areas to discover, such as the Soldier's Peak, or new characters with their backstory such as Shale. They can be obtained via the Xbox Live Marketplace xbox360, the PlayStation Store ps3, or BioWare's website pc.
Campaigns Edit
These provide separate adventures with 'new' main characters (two have the option of importing the Warden).
Promotional Edit
These promotional downloadable contents can still be obtained—either by uploading your character with Dragon Age: Origins Character Creator, playing Dragon Age: Journeys, or buying a new copy of Dragon Age: Origins. Each of these unlocks a powerful in-game item that may be useful throughout the game. Others (like the Collector's Edition) unlock multiple items.
Note: At present, the majority of promotional items for Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening can be unlocked for free by anyone through Dragon Age Keep. This includes most/all promotional items items. See here and click 'Dragon Age: Origins' for more information.
Exclusive Edit
These DLCs were originally available under limited circumstances as an incentive for purchasing particular editions of the game or from a particular retailer. Several items are available in both Origins and the expansion Awakening, though they possess different (and improved, in the case of the expansion) statistics.
Note: At present, the majority of promotional items for Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening can be unlocked for free by anyone through Dragon Age Keep. This includes most/all promotional items. See here and click 'Dragon Age: Origins' for more information.

Manual installation Edit
There are a few in-game bugs that restrict a player from downloading his or her content. These instructions are meant to help PC players manually install their authorized DLC. Downloadable content can be manually installed in the PC version of Dragon Age: Origins. However, some downloadable content, such as Warden's Keep, requires authorization. As such, they cannot be enabled in-game until they have been authorized—either by entering a promotional code or by purchasing the content.
To install downloadable content manually follow these instructions:
Note: You might want to change the *.zip into *.dazip if you find daupdater can't see the zip files.
Location of downloadable content packages Edit
Be aware that a majority of the DLC requires an active internet connection and also requires you to be logged into your Bioware/EA Online account that you used to purchase or redeem the content. Otherwise you will get Unauthorized info in the Installed Content.
The Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar, The Darkspawn Chronicles, Leliana's Song, The Golems of Amgarrak, Feastday Gifts, Feastday Pranks and Witch Hunt require the corresponding offer files to work. The installation procedure for offers is the same as that for any other DLC.
Make sure the offer file is really installed, by looking in C:Users%username%DocumentsBioWareDragon AgeAddIns, there should be a folder of the same name. If it is not there, unpack it from the dazip file (from inside ContentsOffers). It might also help to put the manifest.xml file from the dazip to its respective folder within AddIns for main file and Offer folder for offer files).
All DLC's are included in the GOG version and is DRM free and doesn't require any authorization to use any DLC, however the collector edition items are release with a free patch.
You can bypass the offers files not working by doing the following:
1. Go to C:Users%username%DocumentsBioWareDragon AgeSettings
II. Copy the AddIns.xml file somewhere safe (as a backup)
C. Open the original AddIns.xml in Notepad. (notepad++ works great as you can search for all instances of RequiresAuthorization='1' and then replace them all at once with RequiresAuthorization='0' using the notepad++ Find option. *The Find Option is the Binoculars icon*)
4. Search for RequiresAuthorization='1' and change each instance to RequiresAuthorization='0'
V. Save, start game, enjoy.

Overall game
Okay dragon mania legends is an amazing game to play, it has area battles and campaign battles that you do , with the castle events and the exploring of dungeons to find chronos. It is a complex game that varies from amazing but not so amazing in some areas. I understand that the game is hard to animate and it takes a while to come up with new events and such, like the divine events, so challenging and fun, but there still lies some tension that I have personally. The game is lacking an adventure or a higher level that you can get, yes you level up your dragons, but what if they evolved higher, it’s a stretch yes, but I just think it’d be cool. Also what I think is a good idea is a new habitat, one that is separated from the others, like a floating habitat, only for a special type of dragon and the dragon typing could be moon, sun, eclipse, anything that any of the producers think of. I know that what I am asking for is very hard and animations are complicated and new models and new ideas it’s very complicated and very complex. I’m not asking you to do anything if these things I’m just trying to implement good ideas. The game itself right now is amazing and it’s wonderful to play. Thank you , if you read this , I’m thinking some people think this way as well, I’m just not sure. Thank you again and keep on adding and making the game even better than it is already !
Excellent game to exercise your memory
DML is really 6 games in one which you play simultaneously. There is conquering the campaign map, the clan events, the Arena Battles, Enchantment League, the dungeon, and dragon breading. Oh yes, there are also special events which you can participle in such as the castle and calendar events, along with others. Participating in these events helps to win powers and tokens which makes your dragons stronger and allows you to better compete in the other concurrent events. Timing and the use of math is important to optimize your game play. Often there is more than one path to accomplish a goal but some math skills are required to figure out which ones will cost the least jewels and game coins. And you can always just breed your dragons, some of which are cute and others scary. There are far too many dragons to get them all and DML makes new ones all the time. Some of the best cost a lot of $$$. But the vast majority are free. Remember if someone buys a top dragon which is just a little bit stronger, this is what funds the game for everyone else. For me, it is a great exercise in memory to remember the sequence of play needed between the concurrent games to allow for maximum rewards while spending minimal resources. It is also a great activity to do with your grand children.
Minor Changes
First of all, I'd like to say this is an amazing game. Well done! But I think there are a few things that could be changed and added to improve gameplay. Such as the ability to sell element temples. I recently bought a fire temple thinking that if I decided I didn't like it I could just sell it. But I can't, I have no use for it and now it's taking up space. I also think that you should create egg storage. So say that your dragons just finished breeding, but you don't want to hatch that egg right away. Well, you could put it in storage and hatch the egg when you want. Because I find it very annoying that I am forced to hatch the egg right away which can sometimes take eleven hours or more. And here is another thing, there are way too many ads. In my opinion it's very annoying to see an ad pop up as soon as you exit somewhere. Because what happens is I click the ad on accident and it takes me to the download page.
And my final idea is being able to gift or sell dragons you own to other players of the game. I think this would be great because some people don't like some of the dragons they have, but they don't want to sell them. These are some changes and adds I'd like to see in the future. Information
